With 500,000 Downloads, Shutterstock Launches Award-Winning iOS App In German And Portuguese Languages

(NYSE: SSTK), a leading global provider of digital imagery, today announced the launch of its award-winning iOS application in German and Portuguese languages, supporting the company's goal of becoming more local for users across the globe. The first non-English release of the universal iOS app comes as total downloads surpassed 500,000 this week.

Shutterstock's app provides users another innovative way to browse, search and get inspired by the Company's vast collection of beautiful, high-quality imagery. The iPhone app presents a host of exciting features, including three ways to filter images by color. Users can filter results with an RGB color picker, by selecting an image from their photo library, or by snapping a photo using iPhone's camera.

Users can also browse curated lightboxes, and create and save to their own – all of which sync with Shutterstock.comShutterstock Instant and other devices using the iOS application.
